We did so in 2012 and  every year since have had a fantastic day with most having double figure bags.  Its part of the Adwell Estate some 3 miles ou tside Thame and convenient for the M40 (Junction 6) so within an hour or s o of London for most members. There are 6 pools in the stream and 2 indepe ndent pools. The stream is fed by large springs on the estate and in all t he stream &\; pools cover some 7 acres. It is all set in delightful sur roundings and the islands &\; banks have been carefully planted with tr ees and shrubs in such a way as to encourage wild life to flourish.\n\nThe water contains mainly Rainbows but with some Browns. Fish are grown on in the waters own stew ponds and with the abundant food grow on to approachi ng double figures.\n\nPlease visit their website for more information and a useful route finder\n\nwww.adwellestate.com\n\nSee directions attached\n \nThe owners have agreed to us fishing the water in advance of their usual opening date so the fishing given some decent weather ought to be  excel lent. I am told the water will again be well stocked with plenty of fish t o catch.\n\nThe normal rate is £55.00 per day but the owners have for us agreed a catch &\; release ticket with 1 fish killed of £40.00. All Br owns to be returned. Payment by cash only on the day.
