Arts section – Port & Poetry

We are pleased to announce that the Arts Section is hosting its second Port and Poetry evening following the success of the first. This event is open to all members of the club and guests are encouraged.

The evening will take place on 31st of March in the Clive room. There will be cheese and port provided, but you will need to bring your poetry. Please do bring your favourite poem to read, or even one that you’ve written yourself, but there is no pressure to do so. The poems will be discussed after readings but of course the conversation is not limited!

Please come and bring some Poetry…
It needn’t be particularly witty
We’d be sated by a wee little ditty
So put pen to paper
And do it now rather than later
It also needn’t rhyme.

Elsewise, bring your favourite poem.

The evening will begin at 7pm. Each member may bring up to three guests with all tickets priced at £25 per person to ensure an ample supply of port and cheese for each guest over the course of the evening.
