2023 is shaping up to be a full year of talks, dinners, and visits for the section, hopefully there will be something of interest for everyone and we start the year with a talk from fellow member Godfrey Bloom.
Godfrey will be discussing The Great War and how our disastrous entry into it was unneccessary. An Associate member of the Royal College of Defence Studies, guest lecturer at RCDS, Joint Services Staff College, Eisenhower Defence University Washington & London School of Economics Godfreys publications in include The Economic Implications of War in the UK.
The evening begins at 6.30pm for 7pm talk followed by a Q&A session and a chance for members to discuss over wine and bowl food.
