History Section Lecture & Dinner with Lt. Col. Mike Tickner

The history section welcomes Lieutenant Colonel Mike Tickner, who will be discussing ‘The Fall of Singapore’.

On the 15th February 1942 Singapore was surrendered to Japanese invading forces. Lt Col Tickner will talk on the battle itself, the Japanese occupation
and finally the liberation in September 1945.

Lt Col Mike Tickner was a regular army officer with a keen interest in the Indian Army.  He regularly speaks to military and civilian groups, clubs and museums, writes the occasional article and has led battlefield studies.

Members are welcome to book up to three guest places.
