Horse Racing Evening

We are delighted to announce details of the upcoming horse racing event on Wednesday 23 February, 6.30pm for 7pm start.

Our speakers on the evening will be five-time champion trainer Nicky Henderson, former national hunt jockey and now trainer Jamie Osborne and David Jones,  club member, racecourse steward, and director of the BHA, with the focus of the talks being on the formation of a syndicate and purchase of livestock as well as possibly, getting some Cheltenham tips from these leading trainers. The last time a syndicate was aired there were about 60 members interested in a syndicate and there are now around 260 members in the section.

The evening will be held in the Smoking Room and the format will be based around a lecture followed by supper with an allocation of wine and a cash bar and members will have a chance to mingle with fellow section members during the evening.

As demand for this event is expected to be high, we are initially limiting it to section members only, but please indicate, if capacity allowing, you may like to bring a guest. Tickets will be priced at £65pp.
