A tribute to the Jazz Couriers featuring the music of the late, greats Ronnie Scott and Tubby Hayes
Peter and Simon created the Jazz Scurriers to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ronnie Scott’s.
Expect plenty of up-tempo tenor sax jousting, bell notes bouncing from wall to wall and cascades of bebop quavers coruscating the continuum!
From partnering Georgina Jackson at our last gig, Peter Long will introduce us to the custodian of the Hayes legacy, Simon Spillett, and co-musicians:
Rob Barron – piano, Alec Dankworth – bass, and Peter Cater – drums.
