 y an evening’s entertainment from The Leon Greening Trio and legendary g
 uitarist Terry Smith.\n\nTwice winner of the Melody Maker Music Polls\, Te
 rry spent the early 1960s playing with the Tony Lee Trio before joining Ro
 nnie Scott’s big band. He could often be found in Ronnie ‘s club backi
 ng American’s Esther Phillips\, Marc Murphy\, Jimmy McGriff. He has tour
 ed the USA with both The Walker Brothers and J. J. Jacksons soul band\, be
 fore returning to the UK. In ‘69 he formed the Jazz Rock band ‘if’ w
 ith Dick Morrissey &amp\; Dave Quincy. They went on to make 5 albums and t
 our Europe and the USA. After this success Terry went on to form other Jaz
 z and Blues bands and occasionally played with other well-known blues play
 ers including Jimmy Witherspoon and Eddie ‘Cleanhead’ Vinson and guest
 s with local rhythm sections.\n\nThe evening begins at 7.30pm and includes
  a buffet supper.
