DESCRIPTION:This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ten-week conflict b
 etween Britain and Argentina over the British dependent territories in the
  South Atlantic\; the Falkland Island and its associated dependencies. To 
 mark this the club will be hosting a military lecture and dinner on Wednes
 day 30 March. The evening will begin with a lecture at 7pm by veterans of 
 the conflict followed by dinner in the dining room with guest speaker Brig
 adier Charles Page\, a platoon Commander during the conflict\, who will be
  talking about the services today.\nThe dinner is black tie/ mess dress wi
 th miniatures and members can bring up to one guest. Tickets are priced at
  £90 and £20 of this will be going towards a veterans charity.
