Sherry is a wine that offers great variety, with infinite nuances between the bone-dry, delicately coloured and scented Manzanilla grown in the breezy coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda and the lusciously sweet, deep-coloured PX grown inland in the baking climate of Montilla-Moriles.

Modern day Sherry is not actually so much about where it is grown, but the ultimate blended wine. The way Sherry is processed is what determines the resulting style. However, winemakers are looking back to the past are re-exploring the kaleidoscopic terroir of western Andalusia. What impact is that return to terroir expression going to have? High alcohol suffers so much bad press that fortified wines seem doomed to become extinct sooner rather than later.

As a French man, Sherry proved quite acquired at first, but I came to appreciate it. Come, rediscover Sherry, and give the style a chance, for Sherry offers a unique experience.

Members can bring one guest and ticket price includes sandwiches.

For dinner reservations please book with the dining room in the normal way.
