  Club’s St David’s Dinner is now just a a month away on Thursday 27th

 c but with better singing!\nAs last year the Chairman will be asked to res
 pond to the challenge of the Leek and we will be entertained by Phil Steel
 e of BBC Scrum 5 fame and one of Wales’ leading public speakers. Born an
 d bred in Ely\, Cardiff\, and a graduate in Physical Education from the fa
 mous Cardiff College of Education (now Cardiff Metropolitan University )\,
  Phil Steele comes from a prominent sporting background having played 6 se
 asons for Newport RFC in the 1980`s and is now a prominent broadcaster on 
 BBC Wales radio and T.V. His commentaries\, reports and interviews for BBC
  Wales Sport are always infused with his trademark humour and good grace\,
  and never fail to amuse as well as inform and as such have cemented his s
 tatus as one of Wales’ most popular sports broadcasters.\nMembers may bo
