T he Grange is a traditionally run shoot\, spread over 750 acres of the Chel mer Valleys. It shows good driven Partridge\, Pheasant and Duck throughout the season\, with birds to entertain and challenge every level of shot. A mazingly\, this is all available within easy travel of London\, which was much requested by our members.\n\nSituated an hour from Central London by train to Bishop Stortford or Stansted from London Liverpool Street\, the s hoot provides an excellent gun bus so those travelling by train are not hi ndered.\n\nWe were recommended to The Grange by two committee members who shot there last season\, and reported an excellent day\, with particularly fine food from the Michelin 1* Pub\, The Flitch of Bacon. We are happy to say that we have arranged for all hospitality - coffee upon arrival\, in- field elevenses\, lunch at The Grange and a sit down dinner at The Flitch of Bacon - to be catered for by The Flitch of Bacon\, which will guarantee a day of good food\, company and sport. These meals can be tweaked depend ing on weather/daylight hours.\n\nThe dates we have to offer are as follow s\, all standing 10 guns\;\n\nSaturday the 24th of October - Partridge\, 1 50 bird day\, £562/peg\, £110 for non-shooting guest.\n\nThursday the 5t h of November - Pheasant &\; Partridge\, 200 bird day\, £742/peg\, £1 10 for non-shooting guest.\n\nFriday 20th of November -  Pheasant &\; Partridge\, 200 bird day\, £742/peg\, £110 for non-shooting guest.\n\nSa turday the 12th of December -  Pheasant &\; Partridge\, 150 bird day\, £562/peg\, £110 for non-shooting guest.\n\nSaturday the 16th of January -  Pheasant &\; Partridge\, 100 bird day\, £370/peg\, £99 for non-s hooting guest.\n\nSaturday the 23rd of January -  Pheasant &\; Partrid ge\, 100 bird day\, £370/peg\, £99 for non-shooting guest.\n\nThe latter two dates are aimed at novice shooting members\, and we would be able to have members share pegs if required - subject to an additional fee (£99) for hospitality.
