Wine Tasting – Discovering the Terroir behind the Club White Burgundy

Celebrating the long-standing relationship between the club and the producer of our Club White Burgundy, winemaker Jean-Luc Terrier presents part of his range, with a particular focus on Saint-Véran, and how the subtle variations in the terroir that stretches between the crags of the Solutré and Vergisson rocks that inspired the name of his domaine express themselves in his wines.

Former member, John Owen, who sadly passed away this year, befriended the two men very early on in their venture and, as chair of the wine committee at the time, introduced their wine as our Club White Burgundy some 35 years ago. This event is a lovely way to pay tribute to both John Owen and the wine that one cannot do without during house events.
