Young Members Dinner
An evening for the club’s young members to gather together for a great value three course dinner with wine.
With guest speaker

Tom Gregory
In 1988, at the age of 11, Tom Gregory became the youngest person ever to swim the English Channel. A distinction he still holds. This feat of endurance reinforced the perseverance and determination which has led to further success in later life. He will tell the poignant, life-affirming story of a determined boy, a visionary coach, and how the dream of a record-breaking Channel swim became reality, which was the subject of his first book A Boy in the Water.
Tom, now 46, went on to university and then Sandhurst, becoming an officer in the Royal Anglian Regiment. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan and is now a partner at Deloitte, living in Surrey with his wife and two daughters.
