Military Dinner – 40th anniversary of the Falkland War

This year marks the 40^th anniversary of the ten-week conflict between Britain and Argentina over the British dependent territories in the South Atlantic; the Falkland Island and its associated dependencies. To mark this the club will be hosting a military lecture and dinner on Wednesday 30 March. The evening will begin with a lecture at 7pm by veterans of the conflict followed by dinner in the dining room with guest speaker Brigadier Charles Page, a platoon Commander during the conflict, who will be talking about the services today.

The dinner is black tie/ mess dress with miniatures and members can bring up to one guest. Tickets are priced at £90 and £20 of this will be going towards a veterans charity.
