Rowing AGM & Dinner
This years Rowing section AGM will take place on
Saturday 3rd September at 4:00pm.
Our committee of 2022/23 will be elected and below is a list of the available committee positions including a short description of what each entails. Anyone running for a position will be required to present a 2min speech. These will be followed by questions from the floor. It is recommended you speak to the current holder of the position you are running for.
Hon. Secretary (2 year term) – Callum Sinclair
He shall organise the administration of the Club, including Committee Meetings and the AGM. The Secretary is also responsible for the maintenance of a list of members (and ensuring that members who row maintain an active BR License). of AGMs and EGMs; and any other meeting as appropriate.
Social Sec (1 year term) – Sam Hodgkiss
He shall organise off-the-water events that provide value for both active and social members and shall run the social media accounts including Twitter & Instagram.
Fundraising Sec (1 year term) – Peter Pratelli
He shall raise funds for the section by arranging events and encouraging members to participate.
If either Social Sec or Fundraising Sec does not get filled then the roles will be combined.

Deadline is 27th August at 7pm, I will post a list of candidates on the Monday prior and any issues that arise will be sorted latest on Tuesday prior.
Please click here to see the EIC Rowing Section Constitution. As said in Section 13D: “Motions for discussion at Annual General Meetings which are not included on the agenda shall be lodged with the Secretary at least 7 days preceding the AGM, and be signed by two members”.
